FAQs
Do
you accept my insurance?
We accept any
and all dental benefits as long as you dont HAVE to select your
dentist out of a book. If you just give us a quick call at 608-437-5564,
we can verify that information. We also offer the services of filing your
benefits and waiting for the insurance portion for services rendered.
Our computers constantly update estimated co-payments. We may see other
patients who are covered by your same company or group plan.
How
much is:______?
It is very difficult to determine that without seeing
you. More importantly, there are many choices from which to choose for
any procedure. Feel welcome to take advantage of our no-charge, ten minute
consultation offer where we can diagnose, give you options, and help you
decide on your specific wants.
What
can I do without dental insurance?
Our office is not geared toward dental
insurance. We operate mindful, yet independent of benefits when theyre
applicable. Only about half of our patients have dental benefits, so were
used to helping simultaneously with peoples physical, mental, and
financial comfort. We offer accounting discounts for paying at the time
of services or the ability to spread out payments for a full year without
interest.
How often do I need to see my dentist?
That
truly depends on your dental health. We seek to take care of our patients
dental needs in the easiest way that will work for the long term, sort
of like planning for retirement. Having an initial plan for how to have
a disease-free and easily sustainable dental health is a good idea. Maintaining
the health of attachment of the gums to the teeth (which protects the
bone which hold the teeth in) and practicing early detection
of tooth problems steer our recommendations and your decision of how often
youre seen in our office.
Do
you remind me when I need an appointment?
Yes, we can. Weve also found that in these
days of telemarketing many people prefer not be bothered with that extra
phone call, are often times not home to receive a confirmation call, and/or
prefer not to be called at work. We can consider making the appointment
your confirmation, confirm via phone (at home or work), or confirm via
email. Its your choice.
At
what age should I first take my child to the dentist?
Generally, around age 3. Certainly, if there has
been any sort of trauma to the teeth or face, it may be a good idea to
bring your child in earlier. One very effective way of introducing your
child to a positive dental experience is to bring him or her in to watch
a parent or older sibling during a cleaning appointment, to familiarize
them with us (see who we are) and this setting (see exceptional details
of our facility). We can easily take extra time to let them ride
in the magic chair and play with the tooth toys, etc.
Were dedicated to improving the dental experiences of future generations;
hence, technology and empathetic awareness make that possible.
