When teeth have been removed, remaining bone of the jaw can resorb the way soil erodes from a hill where a tree has been removed. This ever-changing jaw anatomy can create the sensation of loose or clicking dentures. Our office can refit the inside of a denture to your new jaw shape by adding material on the inside of a denture, akin to resoling a pair of shoes. We can usually accomplish this in less than one hour without having to send the denture out from our office, without the denture wearer having to go without teeth outside of our office.
