Call Our Patients to Verify Healing . . . Before we begin any type of care, we always review what you can expect during and after our care. One of our most unique and appreciated services involves verification of your patients' comfort and expectations following our care. You can expect your dental assistant to call you about one week after any procedure requiring anesthetic just to make sure everything is healing/feeling the way you/we would expect. The logic of this valuable service stems from the fact that most procedures requiring numbness are irreversible and, despite the absolute necessity of comfort during a procedure, anesthetic masks the effects of the treatment. The result of these calls is generally that after any irreversible treatment, some soreness is expected with gradual improvement until the area feels normal by about one week later.
